Professional help is important
Overcoming an addiction to drugs and alcohol is a process that varies from one individual to the next. Not all cases are the same. LaArk Recovery understands this and offers an affordable treatment program that can work for you. Inpatient treatment is a strong first step to establishing a foundation for a healthy, sober lifestyle.
Located in northeastern Louisiana, right near the Arkansas state line, the LaArk Recovery inpatient rehab program is a co-ed adult facility. Our 12-step based program takes into account the uniqueness of each individual’s situation. We do not offer drug replacement therapy such as Suboxone, Subutex or Methadone.

Group therapy continues to be an effective strategy for people to address emotional issues that are associated with their drug or alcohol addiction. Group therapy is also an opportunity for individuals to learn new coping mechanisms from people who have experienced similar situations. Patients are separated into gender-specific groups which helps to support more comfortable therapy sessions.
Individual Therapy Sessions
Drug and alcohol addiction often coexist with psychological issues. Some of these issues may need to be addressed through individual therapy sessions. Depending on the situation, one-on-one sessions will provide complete privacy and discretion that allows an individual to achieve personal growth that may not occur in a group setting.
Medication may be used in a number of ways during the rehab process. Some medications may be beneficial in reducing alcohol dependence or acting as mood stabilizers, while other medications are available to help manage co-occurring conditions.
Our center works off of the belief that treating the whole person rather than simply focusing on the disease of addiction is essential. Holistic therapies are a crucial ingredient in the healing process. We encourage clients to continue to seek out other forms of support after discharge from LaArk Recovery.
